How Jetscale AI handles personal information collected through this website: what we collect, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and the rights you can exercise.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This policy describes what this website actually does. It covers the website only — not the Jetscale product, which is governed by the agreement we sign with each customer.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy covers personal information collected through this website: the pages you visit, the forms you submit, and the analytics and consent technologies described below.
It does not cover the Jetscale platform. When you become a customer, Jetscale connects to your AWS, Azure, or GCP accounts in read-only mode and processes cloud configuration, usage, and billing data. That processing is governed by your customer agreement and its data processing addendum, not by this policy. Cloud account data may incidentally contain identifiers such as an IAM user name or an email address in a resource tag; it is handled under that agreement.
2. Who is responsible
The organization responsible for the personal information described here is JetScale Inc., Quebec enterprise number (NEQ) 1180391980, at Maison Atholstan, 2200 rue Stanley, Montreal, Quebec H3A 1R6, Canada.
Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, as amended by Law 25, requires us to designate a person in charge of the protection of personal information and to publish their contact details.
Person in charge of the protection of personal information: Simon Tesson, GTM Engineer, reachable at privacy@jetscale.ai.
Write to that address for anything in this policy, including a request to exercise one of the rights in section 10. It reaches a person, not a ticket queue.
3. What we collect
Information you give us
Our contact and demo forms collect only what is needed to reply to you:
| Where | What |
|---|---|
| Demo request (home page) | Work email address |
| Contact form | Name, work email address, company, reason for contact, your message |
| Careers | Work email address; applications sent by email include whatever you choose to attach |
Every submission also carries the name of the page you sent it from, so we can tell a demo request apart from a general enquiry without reading your message first, plus a hidden field used only to catch automated spam.
We do not ask for a payment card, a government identifier, or any special category of personal information anywhere on this website.
Information collected automatically
If, and only if, you consent through the cookie banner, our analytics tools collect technical and behavioural information about your visit: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and how you interact with the page.
One of these tools, Microsoft Clarity, records a replay of your session and builds heatmaps of clicks and scrolling. It masks text input by default. If you decline analytics consent, no session recording takes place.
Before you make a choice, and if you decline, we set no analytics or advertising storage. See the cookie policy for the complete list.
4. Why we collect it
| Purpose | Information used | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry, arranging a demo, or considering an application | Form submissions | Your own request, you chose to send it |
| Understanding which pages and content are useful, and fixing usability problems | Analytics and session replay | Your consent, withdrawable at any time |
| Measuring marketing effectiveness | Analytics, and advertising technologies if enabled in future | Your consent |
| Keeping the site secure and available | Server and CDN request logs | Our legitimate interest in operating the service |
| Remembering your consent choices, so you are not asked on every page | The consent record stored by our consent tool | Necessary to provide what you asked for |
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your form submission to add you to a marketing list without asking you separately.
7. Where it is stored, and transfers outside Quebec
The website's files are stored in Amazon Web Services' us-east-1 region, in the United States, and delivered to you from the nearest edge location on Amazon's global content delivery network. Most of the providers in section 6 are established outside Quebec, so using this site involves communicating personal information outside the province.
Law 25 requires us to assess, before communicating personal information outside Quebec, whether it will receive protection equivalent to Quebec law, and to keep a record of that assessment. Here is where each provider sends it and what we rely on:
| Provider | Destination | Safeguard |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | United States | Standard contractual clauses in the AWS data processing addendum |
| Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Workspace) | United States | Standard contractual clauses in Google's data processing terms |
| Microsoft (Clarity) | United States | Standard contractual clauses in the Microsoft products and services data protection addendum |
| Axeptio | France (European Union) | Established in a jurisdiction whose data protection regime is recognized as adequate |
| Web3Forms | India | Contractual obligations in the Web3Forms data processing agreement |
On the basis of those safeguards, we consider that the personal information described above receives, where it is sent, protection equivalent to that required by Quebec law. Our detailed assessment of each transfer is an internal record; if you want to know more about it, write to us at the address in section 10.
8. How long we keep it
| Information | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Form submissions and the correspondence that follows | 3 years from our last exchange with you |
| Job applications from candidates we do not hire | 12 months from the decision, so we can consider you for a later opening |
| Analytics data | 14 months, the maximum Google Analytics allows us to set |
| Session recordings | 30 days. Microsoft Clarity sets this and we cannot extend it. Heatmaps and click data, which are aggregated and not a replay, are kept 9 months |
| Consent records | 6 months, after which you are asked again |
| Server and CDN request logs | We do not enable access logging on our content delivery network, so we hold no request logs of our own. Amazon keeps its own operational logs under the terms of its data processing addendum |
When a retention period ends, we delete the information or anonymize it so it can no longer be linked to you.
9. Automated decision-making
Nothing on this website makes a decision about you by automated means. Submitting a form does not trigger scoring, ranking, or automated screening; a person reads what you send.
If that ever changes, we are required to tell you at the time, to explain the personal information used and the main factors behind the decision, and to give you the opportunity to submit observations to a person who can review it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, some or all of the following apply. We will not charge you for exercising them or treat you differently for doing so.
- Access. Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Have inaccurate or incomplete information fixed.
- Withdrawal of consent. Turn off analytics and session replay at any time through the consent panel, without affecting anything you already asked us to do.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete information we no longer have a valid reason to keep.
- Portability. Receive the computerized personal information you gave us in a structured, commonly used technical format.
- De-indexing. Ask us to stop disseminating information, or to de-index a link to it, where the conditions in Law 25 are met.
- Objection and restriction. Where the GDPR applies to you, object to or restrict processing based on legitimate interests.
- Human review. Contest a decision based exclusively on automated processing, if we ever make one.
Write to the person in charge of the protection of personal information at the address in section 14. We respond within 30 days of receiving your request, as Law 25 requires.
If you are not satisfied
You can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, which supervises this area in Quebec, or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
11. Security and incidents
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to enquiry mailboxes and provider consoles is limited to people who need it. This website holds no database of its own: submissions are delivered to us by email rather than stored here.
If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious injury, we are required to notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and the people concerned promptly, and to keep a register of incidents. The person in charge of the protection of personal information named in section 2 maintains that register and runs the notification process. Report a suspected incident to privacy@jetscale.ai.
12. Children
This is a business product. The website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 14. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will make it visible on the site rather than relying on you to notice. Adding a new analytics or advertising technology also means updating the cookie policy and the consent banner, so you get the choice before it runs.
14. How to reach us
For anything in this policy, including a request to exercise a right above:
- Person in charge of the protection of personal information: Simon Tesson, GTM Engineer — privacy@jetscale.ai
- General: info@jetscale.ai
- Post: JetScale Inc., Maison Atholstan, 2200 rue Stanley, Montreal, Quebec H3A 1R6, Canada
Quebec's Charter of the French language requires a French version of this policy to be available. See the cookie policy for the technical detail behind section 5.
