Every cookie and storage item this website uses, what sets it, how long it lasts, and how to change your choices at any time.

This policy is written from the tags this website actually loads, and from each provider's own documentation of the cookies it sets.
1. Change your choices
Analytics is off until you turn it on, and you can change your mind whenever you like. This reopens the consent panel with your current choices:
Withdrawing consent stops further collection. To have data already collected deleted, contact us using the details in the privacy policy.
2. What these technologies are
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise the browser on a later request. Two related technologies do similar jobs: local storage, which keeps a value in your browser until something clears it, and pixels, small requests that report a page was loaded.
We group them by what they do rather than by which technology they use, because that is what actually affects you.
3. Strictly necessary
These are set without asking, because the site cannot do what you asked without them. None of them track you across other websites.

Refusing the consent cookie is not possible in a useful sense: without it we cannot record that you refused, and you would be asked again on every page.
This site stores nothing else on your device. It keeps no login, no display preference, and no local database: the consent record above is the only thing it writes.
4. Analytics: only with your consent
Nothing in this section runs until you accept. Before you choose, and if you decline, analytics and advertising storage are denied and no identifier is written.

About session recording
Microsoft Clarity does more than count visits: it records a replay of your session and builds heatmaps showing where visitors click and how far they scroll. We use it to find parts of the site that confuse people. It masks text you type by default, so form contents are not captured in the replay.
This is the most intrusive technology on the site, which is why it runs only after you accept, and stops as soon as you withdraw.
5. Advertising
We currently run no advertising or remarketing pixels on this website.
If that changes, the tag will be added to the consent banner first, listed in this table, and set only after you accept the relevant purpose. A new advertising technology appearing without a corresponding entry here would be a mistake, please tell us if you spot one.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
The consent panel is the most precise control, because it maps to the specific technologies above. Your browser also has blunter settings that block or delete cookies for all sites, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge under privacy or site-data settings.
Two things worth knowing. Blocking all cookies also removes the record of your consent choice, so you will be asked again. And most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal, which we do not act on because there is no agreed meaning for it; the consent panel is the control that actually works.
7. Keeping this page accurate
A cookie policy is only useful if it matches reality. Ours is generated from the tags the site actually loads, and it is re-checked whenever a tag is added or removed.
Cookie names and lifetimes are set by the providers above, not by us, and they can change them without notice. If you find a cookie on this site that is not in the table, tell us at the address in the privacy policy and we will correct it.
